Maryland Communities United was founded by and for everyday Baltimore Black people, to learn, grow and fight together. If we work in YOUR community and we want to hire YOU! Our member-elected board is 100% Black. All of our staff members have significant roots, deep commitments and strong heart connections to this city. We work to grow our staff, membership and communities from the ground up. We work for real change by hiring and advancing members and their communities. There are opportunities for community members with and without formal education, formerly incarcerated, disabled and facing other life challenges.
